Description:
A Missouri Pacific freight rolls through Valmeyer, IL when it was still there. Mississippi River flooding inundated the town in 1993, virtually destroying it. When the flood waters returned in 1995, the town was re-located to higher ground nearby -- but away from the MP/UP mainline.
